It is the first day that I use Lightroom Classic (9.2.1), I have a problem ...
I open a new project, I load a folder with photos and when I go to the BOOK screen, it automatically puts all the photos that are contained in the folder and sets them with the automatic layout, instead of being able to choose only the photos that interest me.

I hope it's just a program setting that I have to set.

Thanks for your help!

When you open the Book module there is a Book Preference setting available to uncheck the Autofill-

And if you do not like a layout (from Autofill) you can clear the layout in the Auto-Layout panel-

If you have not yet created a 'Saved Book Collection' (which you MUST ALWAYS DO to work from!) there is a [Clear Layout] tab-
