Automatically update copyright message year?

Hi,

each year, I find myself having to update the year in my copyright metadata in the IPTC copyright field.

Is there a way to automtically have the year updated, so I don't have to think about this every year?

If not - why not? There are file import presets that also allow me to specify dates as part of file and directory names. Surely something similar could be done for copyright messages, no?

What I've done is post a yearly reminder in my Google Calendar, for January 1st of each year, to remind me to change the copyright. Gives me a chance to also review the 'Rights Usage Terms' in case I can find better terms.
