Big catalog , ho to decrease

I'm mac user, i have see there are a big catolog of LR 

There are some tips to reduce the dimension of this catalog?

How many image files are you managing in the Catalog?

Are you generating Standard/Smart Previews in your workflow?

What size are they?

They will add to Catalog size in the end.

Thanks Tony i have made the change reducing the size (before was 3500px) , the change is applied immediately or i need to delete the file and wait is been recreated? 

I hope to resume some GB from HDD

The file you're pointing to is the Preview container not the catalog, and 33GG isn't particularly big. The catalog is the next one down on your list.

Do you think is possibile to delete? if yes this is been recreated at first opening?

You can tell Lightroom Classic to delete previews use the menu command Library->Previews.

Really, if space is that tight, you probably ought to consider getting a bigger disk or a second disk.

After deleting the -v10 Previews.lrdata folder change the Catalog Settings Preview Quality to Medium, which will help to keep the folder smaller. I use medium setting and haven't seen any issues with the preview quality in the Library module.
