So my old hard drive was working fine.
This is were I store all my raw files.
I did the Macos Big Sur Update the other day, all fine.
Then the other day my hard drive no longer showed up.
So tried to update the software, no luck. ( it workds on my older mac).
So decided to buy a new Hard drive and copy everthing.
I also called it the same name hard Drive.
After I did the I started Lightromm CC and all looked fine.
But I now have no history.
Lightoom then tried to backup, it said file corrupted, then I did repair file.
So it all works, I just have no history.
How can I fix this?

What version of Lightroom are you using? You need the latest Lightroom Classic v10 to be compatible with Big Sur. Older versions do not work correctly. Lightroom CC was the name for a much older version of Lightroom is why I am asking.

Hello,
Yes I am using the latest version of Lightroom CC.
It says V10.
So what is the best way to regain my history to my new drive.
Not sure what the steps are required.
As I copied the old drive and called the drive the same name.
Opened lightroom, which found the files and opened them.
But I see no history, even though the photed is edited.

Update,
was contacted by seagate.
I removed their software.
Now my old drive works again.
So how to restore my last back up?
Thanks,
Gerry

Srap that.
Removing the seagate software allows me to see my old drive.
But I can't read or write to it.
So back to square one.
So over updates, Big Sur is probably the issue.
So I have to wait for a new driver then update.
Cheers,
Gerry
