Bug report/help needed: Lightroom for Web erroneously displaying files as spherical panoramas

General problem
Since a few days (June, 2021), LRC shows a strange behaviour when images are displayed via web breoser, eg in LR Web or in shared galleries. A SVG script is started that renders/displays images as spherical panoramas. Without any control, intention or changes in my workflow. Needless to say that I no longer can show these web image galleries to customers.

Afflicted files
Afflicted are newly created files that have been changed with other software from within Lightroom, eg Photosop or Topaz Denoise (open file in ...) . File format or size makes no difference. Even if the changed images are exported from Lightroom and then re-imported, the error is somehow inherited.

These files show no problems in Lightroom, Photoshop, Lightroom for Android, or any other software. Only when displayed in the Adobe Cloud via a browser, the Adobe Server renders them as these crappy spheres...

Yes, photoshopped images can not be displayed on the Adobe Cloud infrastructure any more.

Not afflicted files
"Native" files (from camera)only changed in Lightroom show no problems. Most older files changed with external programs make no problems.

Solutions and failed remedies
No solution. Adobe customer care (after 9 hours chat and remote control) has not been able to find any solution, cause or workaround. Re-installing all Creative Clouds Apps, even after using the Creative Cloud Cleaner, makes no difference.

I have found a very clumsy workaraound that works with new or already "infected" files
  • Open the file in Photoshop
  • (Make your intended changes)
  • (Save the file, if needed, this one will be usesless in Adobe Cloud)
  • Make and copy a layer with the intended final image to the clipboard
  • Create a new, empty file
  • Paste the clipboard
  • Save the image to a foldeer
  • Sync this folder in Lightrooom
  • Import the new image into Lightroom

Anyone experiencing the same problem? Causes, solutions, workarounds?
 Thanks in advance (hopefully)
Martin

Please post a bug report in the official Adobe feedback forum, where Adobe wants all bug reports and feature suggestions:
https://www.lightroomqueen.com/send-bug-report-feature-request-adobe/

Be sure to include the first ten lines of the menu command Help > System Info. Provide all the details, rather than linking back to this thread -- experience shows that Adobe developers tend not to follow the links. Product developers read everything posted there, but rarely participate here, which is primarily a user-to-user forum.
