Can't Open Lightroom

I am using Windows 10. version 20H2. when I try to open Lightroom Classic, the splash screen shows up and then the the application closes. I sent a report to Adobe. In the mean time, I am out of business. I installed the most recent updates in Creative Cloud for Photoshop and Lightroom (May 2021) .
