Can't open LrC. Already deleted the Lock file.

Hi, 

I have the same problem. I was charhing some pictures ans when I came back, my computer had restarted. Now I cannot open lightroom. I deleted the .lock fils but it doesn't work. When I try to open a catalogu, it says "

Impossible d'ouvrir le catalogue en raison d'une erreur inattendue", and the .lock comes back

I'm s frustated, can you help me please ?

Please explain  exactly what happened and what you have tried to fixz the problem.

Unable to open catalog due to unexpected error

You need to find a recent backup of your catalog file, unzip it, put it in a different folder than the original, and then use that. You may also need to put it on a different disk.

If you create a new catalog, does the new catalog also fail?

I forget the exact keystroke procedure to accomplish this at LrC startup. As I remember you hold down on the ALT/Option key while clicking on the LrC icon.
