Cannot access Lightroom after downloading it.

I keep trying to access the lightroom app that I've downloaded on my mac, however everytime I try to do so it says "something went wrong" and suggests that I'm not connected to the internet. However I am. What should I do about this?

• What do you mean by "access"? Do you mean you are trying to launch the software, or are you trying to install it, or something else?
