I think I created by accident a new catalogue. So I can´t find the catalogue I was working with until then.
Can someone advise me how to find the original catalogue again?

The File menu should have an option to open a recent catalog. Otherwise it should simply be a matter of looking for that catalog in the default location, which is your Pictures folder.

In Lightroom Classic, use File->Open Recent
or
use your operating system's search feature to search for all files whose name ends with .LRCAT
