Catalogue update not successful - Lightroom 9 Update

Tried to update to the new Lightroom 9 today on a Mac (10.14.6) Mojave.

The Update of the catalogue was never successful.

Had to downgrade again.

I'm having the same issue with Lightroom V9.0, has cost me a couple of lost days of work so far.

 

From looking at some old forum posts (from 2016/17), Lightroom seems to have issues with catalogues that link to photos on external drives - especialy NAS drives.

 

This strange becase you price your product like it's 2019 but it seems you think your customers use hardware from 2009. Utterly unacceptable that this issue has been going on for so long.

 

Please find a fix ASAP. l have now realised that I can downgrade my version, so fingers crossed that will work.

I tried to update to Lightroom 9 for the third time on Windows 10.

The Update of the catalogue was never successful.

I had to downgrade again to 8.4.1
