Hi community
I've been working with lightroom (mac, latest edition) for quiet some time now but a week ago all of a sudden my catalogus seemed to be 'broken'. All pictures (including all adjusted settings) were no longer visible and as soon as I tried to re-open the catalogus it seemed to be empty. I've tried to import the catalogus into another catalogus, but than again the message can that this process could not be performed.
Since a couple of days the following message keeps on appearing when I open the original catalogus.
Could anyone help me with this matter?
Kind regards
C. Schumacher

As it says, you want to use a recent backup.

So I tried. But there were no backups not to be found.
I used a different source compared to my other lightroom catalogi and afterwords i've seen that the backups were not automaticaly produced. Therefore I've putted my question on this forum. Since I've ran out of options myself.

I don't think there are other options when your catalog won't open. No backups, then that's the end of the line, there's nothing else to try.

Restore your catalog from a backup.

Go to the folder where the Lanzarote catalog is stored
Lanzarote.lrcat.lock <<<
Delete this file Then it will open.
