Changes in history not shown after installing LRC on new computer

We have installed LRC on a new computer. Installation was correct, Catalog files and foto's are on the new computer. LRC works fine, only the changes made to the foto's (history) are not shown. Anybody know why? Qualifications given to the foto's are shown.

1) Did you COPY the Catalog from the 'old' computer?

2) Or did you create a new Catalog and Import the photos?

Only the first option #1 is correct if you wish to restore everything (including development history, etc) in the 'new' computer.

Option #2 may show the images 'as they were last edited' IF (and only IF) you had, on the old computer,  Saved metadata to files (as XMP sidecar files for raws)
