Having trouble closing or reducing the LR CC window. It fills the laptop screen where I can't see the desktop at all. I can't move the window aside , reduce the window or anything basically. Can anyone help?

Hi David,

That sounds like a strange issue, could you please let us know the exact version of Lightroom you're using?
You can check the version by going to Help > System Info.

Also, please try resetting the preferences of Lightroom and let us know if it helps.

Don't reset your preferences just yet. It can be something very simple. For example, if you use Lightroom Classic or one of its predecessors (Lightroom CC2015, Lightroom 6, Lightroom 5), then all what has happened is probably that you have set the screen mode to full screen (with menubar). You can change that in 'Window - Screen Mode'.

Press Shift+F to step through the different options, for how LR fills the screen. You can decide which parts of the application window should be shown, or else hidden to leave more space available. One of these modes even hides the menus - in which case you'll need to know this shortcut... 😄
