When? Lightroom Classic 9.4 does import CR3 files, right now, today.
What is the specific problem you are having? What version NUMBER of Lightroom Classic are you using? What is the exact make and model of your camera?

What camera?
What LrC do you have?

The R5 was added in last week’s Lightroom Classic 9.4 update, so if you don’t yet have that version, you’ll want to go to the Updates tab in your Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Check Updates from the “…” menu at the right side.
The reason others were confused when you asked about CR3 files instead of R5 files, is because Canon uses the CR3 filename extension for many cameras going back several years. So CR3 files have been supported for a long time, but the CR3 files coming specifically from the sensor of a Canon EOS R5 have been supported only since last week. Nikon and others do the same thing with their filename extensions, one filename extension covers raw files from many models old and new.

Be aware, apparently Adobe may have been a bit clumsy on the implementation of the Canon EOS R5 RAW conversion in LrC and Adobe Camera RAW (for PS) as some users are reporting WB or color tint issues. And the camera matching profiles are missing.
This is not the first time Adobe has fumbled this.

You didn't answer my questions. "What is the specific problem you are having? What version NUMBER of Lightroom Classic are you using?"
