Creating a brush

Hi folks... Please help a girl right here...

I changed my computer and I'm trying to re-do my logo as a brush. It does have a transparent background and white letters.

When I try to define brush preset, it does say that: " Could not complete the Define Brush Preset command because the selected area is empty".

How do I fix this?

Why are you wanting to add a logo as a brush? How will you use it?
