When I moved to a new photo. If I click on the cropping tool in the development module. The padlock shows as being locked. But when I try to crop. It is no longer craft but still shows the padlock as being closed. I move my Mouse over the padlock and it indicates that it's open. It is very deceiving and I'm losing time wondering if it's open or closed.

This is a very deceiving issue and I'm losing time and frustration when I realize that the crop is not locked.

Is your problem as described/discussed in:

https://feedback.photoshop.com/conversations/lightroom-classic/lightroom-classic-v10-bug-padlock-sym...

Note that the site in the link is the official Adobe feedback site where actual Adobe Techs respond. In fact one is.

I should have inquired

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.
