Akash,
Turning off the Graphics processor solved the problem.
I am using Classic 9.2.1, Mac OS 10.15.4 on a Macbook Pro (16 in, 2019) with AMD Radeon Pro 5500m 8GB and Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

The help page you cited only goes to Classic 8.4 in listing compatible graphic cards.

I believe this problem only started after I upgraded Mac OS to 10.15.4

Thank you!!

Hi there,

We're sorry that your images are looking distorted in the Develop module in Lightroom Classic.

Which version of Lightroom are you using? Could you please un-check the option "Use graphics Processor" under Preferences>>Performance and let us know if that helps? Refer https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html#troubleshooting

Thanks,

Akash

Thanks for the update. Glad to know that the issue is resolved. This also means that your graphics card driver is not updated or is corrupt. Please checkout this article to update your GPU driver: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html#troubleshooting

Are All your most recent inmports like this?

First thing to do is turn of the GPU option in the LR preferences on the Performance tab and test.

If they still look like this then they are corrupted and I doubt LR did that. More than likely a memory card problem or Reader or cable.
