Hello,
In Lightroom Classic v10 and Photoshop 2021, on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7

When I use the "modify with Photoshop" function, the dialog box which allows you to choose: modify with the lightroom parameters, modify a copy, or modify the original, no longer opens!
The photo opens directly in Photoshop without any possible choice, and surely in "modify the original" mode. Lightroom edits are not taken into account.

Do you have any idea how to restore this dialog?

Thanks,

Brice

The dialog box will only open with rendered (RGB) files, like tiff or jpg.

When you send a raw file to Photoshop, there is no option to edit a copy.

The raw file will open silently in Camera Raw, where the edits from Lightroom are applied.

Then a new file (derived from the raw file) will open in Photoshop, and it will be saved as a Tiff or PSD, depending on your Lightroom preferences > External editing settings.

If edits from Lightroom aren't showing up, try viewing the image at 100% view in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Edits like sharpening and noise reduction must be viewed at 100%, any other view will be inaccurate and misleading because the image has been scaled.

You can also try to make a substantial adjustment in Lightroom, like Exposure -5, and then send the file to Photoshop.
