Hello! I keep wanting to import pictures on lightroom but it keeps telling me that my macintosh disk is low on space. My storage plan with adobe is 1tb... I've deleted everthing in my trash and put all my documents on my external hardrive. I also have 200gb of storage on my mac. I've restarted my computer and updated the app. What should I do?

Lightroom or Lightroom Classic?

Do you mean 200gb of FREE space, or 200 GB total space?

You can try importing the photos to a different disk (if you have one).

If you don't have some other disk available, then you need to get one.

Now that extra bit of info makes me wonder, where are you trying to save your photis to? Your internal hard drive, your external hard drive, or the cloud?

How are you importing? Specificaly, from a SD card, or from a hard drive?

Two areas of concern.

1. Drive space for the photos.

2. Drive space for the catalog. Where is your catalog? How much free spce by %?
