Hello,
The past several days I've lost 13 LrC files (-edit TIFs saved from Photoshop) and previews/thumbnails after restarting an iMac running Mojave 10.14.6. Nowhere to be found in LR, not even in the 'All Photographs' section under Catalog. Also, I've lost many exported files from LrC after restart. (After exporting, I verified files were in the designated folder; after restarting, these files have disappeared.) Also, both LrC and Photoshop are both opening on restart (and, no, they are not in the Login Items preference panel). This has never happened in the earlier versions of LrC.
Any ideas?
Thanks ...

LrC does not delete files without user input. It just does not happen.
you have some other type of Computer problem. Faulty, failing, hard drive, SSD.

So the MAC is starting LrC at boot? Is it opening the correct catalog?

Programs starting at boot. Have you checked:

how a program all of a sudden gets added to startup or login is a mystery? hmmmmm
