Error message which reads " Corrupt Catalog Detected! Pls Help

Hi! 

 

I am getting an error message that reads "Corrupt Catalog Detected" when I try and open lightroom.  When I hit Repair Catalog it continues to say "Temporarily Unable to Repair Corrupt Catalog." 

 

I have a MacOS and Lightroom verson 6.0.  Please help!
