Hello,
I have a strange problem mit Lightroom Classic (current version 9.1), when exporting or publishing video files.
The process starts and after 1, 2 or 3 files the progress bar just freezes. CPU usage returns to 0% and nothings happens - even after waiting for hours.
There is no error message, but exporting video files doesn't work.
Any ideas?
Steven

Hi Steven,
Sorry that exporting videos from Lightroom Classic 9.1 is not working as expected. Would you mind unchecking the option "Use Graphics Processor" under the Preferences> Performance menu in Lightroom and see if the issue persists?
You may also try the steps mentioned below:
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,

Hi Akash,
Im using Win10.
In the preferences on the tab "Performance" I set "Use Graphics Processor" to "Off".
I changed Camera Raw Cache to 15 GB und clicked on "Purge Cache".
I also set Video cache size to 10 GB and purged it.
After restarting Lightroom Classic I tried to publish (only videos).
First the process worked fine, but then the process just stopped again.
2 Videos remained in the tmp-Folder, which is created while publishing.
In the task manager I noticed an amecommand.exe, which is still running and using CPU.
But nothing happens - the publishing just stopped.
Thanks,
Steven

Hi Steven,
Could you please update to the latest version 9.2 of Lightroom Classic and let us know if the issue still persists? See https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/keeping-lightroom-up-to-date.html#HowdoIcheckforandinst...

Hi!
I updated LR Classic.
Then I deleted all videos files previously published folder.
In Lightroom Classic I selected the videos and makred them to be republished.
Then I clicked on publish to start the process.
Lightroom created a subfolder "tmp" end exported 3 videos to it.
Then again the process just stopped, with the progress bar standing still.
The files also remained in the tmp-Folder and were not moved to the target (parent) folder as exprected.
So - still not working - sadly

I made some more tests.
With medium and high quality - no changes.
Sometimes it stops after the first video, sometimes after a few.
When changing to export the original files everything works fine.
I tried to republish a collection of videos I published successfully some time ago. The same problem.
So the cause doesn't seem to be related to the specific files.
I hope this information helps.
Thanks,
Steven

The problem is still unresolved. For me a very crutial part of Lightroom Classic is not functioning any more. Is there any advice on how to procede?
I was also wondering if there is something like a log file or event log I could check in search of the cause?
