I am testing some edit-in software and I wanted to make sure that my original DNG files were not destroyed during my tests. I exported 30 images as DNGs the were already DNGs to a seperate folder. My thinking was that this essentially do nothing more that make copies of the origanl files with unique file names. What happend was "WOW" lage file sizes at 256px on the long edge. Wierd.
Obviously I have no idea what I did. Big egg on my face.
Can someone tell me what happened. I would attach the file if this new itteration of forum had an attache feature.
What would be the correct wat to make copies of a set of DNG files including lightroom's edits under a new file name so I could re-import them for testing purposes
Change the export option to original + settings.
