Does anyone know if it is possible to export images from multiple different folders within Lightroom at once? Instead of having to go through each folder and select the images individually to then add to the queue?

Hi mydoanne,

As I can understand, you're looking to export your images into multiple folders at once from Lightroom. Which version of Lightroom are you using?

Could you please take a look at this similar discussion LR: Export or Publish LR folder with subfolders to HD keeping the same folder structure and let us know if that answers your query?

Thanks,

Akash

Sure you can.

2 ways to do it.

1) In the Library module, Folders section you can select multiple folder by holding down the Ctrl/CMD key then clicking on the different folder. That will display the contents of the selected folders in the Grid view and in the Film Strip. In the Grid view select the images you want to export, click the Export button.

2) Again in the Library module at the top, the Catalog section, select All Photographs. That will display ALL of you images and then you go through them to select the ones you want to export. then same as above.

The first option is the best and fastest IMHO.

You shouldn't have to "select the images individually" — unless you don't want to export the entire folder contents, you just want certain photos from a number of folders. So, could you explain further?

If you do want certain photos and not the whole folder, you could assign a certain keyword for just those photos and then export just the photos with that keyword. You could also add the photos to a Quick Collection. But in this case, everything depends on you being able to select (individually) the desired photos.

That's right I'm looking to export particular images in each folder rather than the whole folder's content.

So if you want certain images from several folders, you have to select them individually in each folder, unless perhaps they have something in common, like a certain keyword or a certain color label. If not, you could select each one and put them each into the Quick Collection (by clicking on the Quick Collection marker) and then export them all at once.
