Fail to launch. Please advise!

I tried selecting a difffent catalog, tried unistalling an reinstalling, also tried installing an older version. Nothing seems to work. Would be much appreciated if you could guide me in fixing this error. Thank you very much!

Go to the folder containing your catalog(s) and look for a file with 'lrcat.lock' at end. Delete the 'lrcat.lock' file, then try to restart Lightroom
