For two weeks now I have a message in the upper right that saws "Syncing 3 photos". It never goes away. When I exit, it warns me that a sync is in progress. I've let it sit for hours, nothing changes.
Thanks for the information.
Upon seeing the screenshot, I believe that there might be 3 images here Photo Editor | Online Photoshop Lightroom that might be causing the issue.
The 3 images needs to be deleted and from the cloud and that should fix the issue.
Could you try checking and see if you're able find the faulty images on the cloud and delete them, then relaunch Lightroom?

Hi there,
That should not be happening as it's not a typical experience with Lightroom. Let's make this right.
As you're seeing a Syncing message in the upper right corner, could you please let us know the version of Lightroom you're using?
Also, what operating system are you working on?
Could you please go into Lightroom's Preferences > Lightroom Sync and check Under Sync Activity and let us know what do you see?
Regards,
Sahil

First, I am on the latest version of Lightroom Classic (auto update is selected in CC) and the latest version of Windows 10 (automatic updates selected). The sync message is in the upper left of the window:
And the Sync activity shows the following:

Thanks, that worked. Not sure why it hung on them, but that did get rid of the messages.
