Hi,
Just some quick points, it's early days on LR Classic for me.
i) My camera (GH5) stores images & videos in sub-folders in its DCIM folder, but when each sub-folder reaches its maximum the storing carries on into a new sub-folder, sequentially numbered. When copying into LR and my hard drive folder of choice, LR treats the two sub-folders separately, when for this particular workflow I want all together (it's a singular project). So closing LR simply I moved all into one, but while in LR I can see the later group of images (presumably this is the thumbnail in the catalogue) there is no link to the RAWs. In short, how can I relink in LR from a now redundant folder to where the RAWs actually are/where I have moved them to?
ii) I'm doing a lot of HDR + Panoramas on 7x bracketed shots (because these are panoramas, in practice it's 14 shots), but it seems in one session of merging LR 'runs out of steam'. So I close the program and restart, and the HDR stitch then goes well. That's a bit time consuming an annoying. Any ideas as to why this happens?
iii) The reason for the above panorama is because I'm doing real estate shots but with a 25mm lens, instead of the usual 17mm. This is first trial testing and results are mainly good, but sometimes the vertical lines are a bit fisheye-like. Any recommendations (this is really a camera question, but thought I'd ask) for the maximum to pan?
iv) When higfhlighting a thumbnail and selecting delete LR asks if I want to remove the original from the disk. When saying yes the thumbnail remains, presumably this is the catalogue. How to clear everything?
Thank you,
DC

Main item to consider for all images in Lightroom, Is only move the images from within lightroom. Do not close light room and than move files, otherwise lightroom loses location of the raw files. To fix it:
1. If you have not done any edits, than just remove images from lightroom and say do do delete from harddrive, tham use the import button and add these files again to light room using the hyarchiey that you stated.
2. If you have done edits you want to save: than use this workflow which takes more time. Click on the images that are missing the raw file and choose option to relocate the file, than navigate to where the original raw file is to relink. Some times it will update everyting but some times you have to complete this process multiple times until you update all files. Can take some time and patience.

If you're using the Copy option in the Import dialog box, have you used the Destination options to control how Lightroom organizes the imported photos into folders?

Yes, I switched off "Into Subfolder" but somehow that confused the heck out of me as it didn't seem to copy. Checking it on sets up the multiple-subfolder orgainsational system. I'd rather not check this option.
