Lightroom classic does not import GPS coordinates when using macOS catalina 10.15.4. I had to install lightroom version 8.4.1 to get GPS coordinated to iput. I use a Canon 6D Mark II. Any solutions to this issue as I preferred the newest version of light room?
To troubleshoot this in LR 9.2.1, in the Import window's right column, set Apply During Import > Metadata to None and import a photo with GPS coordinates. If the GPS imports, then edit the Metadata preset you were using and make sure that the checkbox to the right of GPS is unchecked.
