Hand Icon for moving photo around while zoomed - only making very small adjustments.

So yesterday, while zoomed in, i could use the brush tool or simply review the image with the hand icon dragging the photo around the screen while zoomed in. Today, when trying to move the photograph around or drag to a different part of the photo to use a brush tool, it only makes the smallest movement to the photograph taking ages to move across to a different section of the photograph...! very frustrating. Anyone able to help or identify why this has happened?

Restart Lightroom and your computer to see if that doesn't reset the application.
