High GPU Memory usage in Lightroom Classic 10.2 on Windows 10

I have noticed that when lightroom is open my GPU memory is 90% used . This causes black screens in adobe premiere when GPU acceleration is on and lightroom is open at the same time. I have also noticed that surface blur in photoshop sometimes takes 15 minutes to run and sometimes works fine. It seems to be better when lightroom is not running.

Aside from disabling GPU support in lightroom does anyone have any ideas. I am running the latest NVIDIA driver and have a 980ti with 4gb of vram.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Lightroom due to the high GPU usage. Would you mind sharing the version of Lightroom you're using along with your computers operating system? Have you tried re-installing the Nvidia drivers to check if that helps? If not, please try that to check if that helps.

You can also try resetting the Preferences of Lightroom by pressing & holding the Shift + Alt keys while launching Lightroom. Then click Yes when you get the prompt to confirm resetting the preferences.

I am running the latest driver from nvidia and have updated it as part of troubleshooting.

Please backup your presets prior to resetting the preferences.
