How to fix files stored at random, in the wrong place.

After finding missing files, LR stores these at random in its parent folder,  and not in the subfolder these belong.

The structure I am using is MMDDYYYY - I have a good many files that are stored at the level YYYY, not at the YYYMMDD, where they are supposed to be.

How do I re-oranize these using LR 9.2.1?

Thank you for any suggestion.
