Hi,

Due to a hardware failure I have to move all my photo files to another disk.  Is there a way to mass update the photoshop lightroom catalog with the new diskname or should I build a new catalog and loose all history?

Thanks in advance,

Frans van Wessel

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the hardware failuer. To update the location of all the images/folder together, you can simply right click on the parent folder for the folder structure you have and select the option to find missing folder. That should update the location for all the folder inside the parent folder. If you have multiple folders that act as parent folders for subsequent sub-folders, would need to repeat the process for every one.
