Impact of Photoshop Elements 2018 transfer to Lightroom Classic and (potentially) back

Hi

I have been editing RAW files in Camera Raw and saving them in PSE 2018 Catalog. I am currently trialling LR Classic and like it. I can see that the LR Classic edits update the related XMP file and show up in the PSE Organiser. My question is this: if I decide to abandon LR in the future and go back to the much simpler PSE, what would I lose from the LR edits in the Catalog?

For example, since LR has a Texture slider and PSE doesn't, I assume that I would lose the Texture adjustments in PSE. Is there much else I would lose?

Presumably if I overwrote the XMP file with edits in PSE, it would lose the Texture adjustment forever.

I am just trying to understand the implications so I don't go into this blind.

I'd greatly appreciate some help.

Thanks
