Import folder structure

When importing new photos in Lightroom Classic the photos used to be imported in the standard folder structure, so in a folder with the date the photos were taken. However, when I now import the photos are no longer imported in this folder structure.

What should I do to make Lightroom use the standard folder structure again?

Any help is very welcome!

You change the settings in the Import dialog box to use capture date as folder names. See section 5 of this documentation: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/importing-photos-lightroom-basic-workflow.html

Thank you for the reply! However, the destination setting already says under "organize" "by date", but no new folder with the new date is created...

Where do the photos go? Please show us a screen capture of your Import dialog box, and also a screen capture showing where the photos are going. Use the "Insert Photos" Icon to include the screen captures in your message. Do not provide screen captures as attachments.
