Import from Desktop

Can anyone tell me if I can import into Lightroom from the desktop?

I can't see 'Desktop' showing in search.

The desktop is inside the Users folder.

On a PC, it will be C:\Users\Your username\Desktop

Probably something similar on a Mac.

Which is one of several reasons why putting photos on your desktop is a poor idea. If you are going to put them somewhere on your hard disk, put them in their final resting folder straight out of the camera. Don't put them on the desktop and move them somewhere later. Save yourself a step.

It would have been easier if Adobe included the Desktop

I applaud the decision by Adobe not to include a special link to the desktop folder in Lightroom.
