Importing Images

I have Adobe Lightroom Classic, how do I import images from my desktop to Lightroom?

Do you mean from the Desktop Folder of your hard drive and what you see when you sit in front of your computer?

Please post this.

Please Consider including the following in your question:
Adobe product and version number
Operating system and version number
The full text of any error message (s)
What you were doing when the problem occurred
Screen shots of the problem
Computer hardware, such as CPU; GPU; the amount of RAM; etc

On the newest Mac OS there are far more restrictions as to where programs have access. One that is restricted is the Desktop.
