Suddenly I'm not able to import any photos to Lightroom from ANY of my memory cards. Every time I try to import photos a pop-up window appears and says the couldn't be copied because they're not writable. How do I fix this?

In the Import dialog, Destination panel, verify that the destination is pointing to where you want it.
Using Finder, verify that you have READ and WRITE access to the desired folder, to its parent, and to the drive.
If you are running Catalina, use the OS tool "security and privacy" to verify that all the options for Lightroom are turned on.
