Installing Lightroom 6 on Windows 7 getting error "cannot be installed on Windows Vista"

Hi!

I purchased some months ago Lightroom 6.

I put it on the Mac of my wife because it was a bit more urgent for her.

Yesterday I tried an install on my PC (serial gives 2 installs) and the process stops quickly, Lightroom saying it can't be installed with windows vista. Erm... I use win 7 64. 
I could not pass this.

Sorry that you cannot install Lightroom 6 on a Win 7 computer as you keep getting an error that says it cannot be installed on Win Vista.

How were you able to purchase LR v6? From whom?

Sounds suspicious, Adobe no longer offeres v6, no one should be selling it
