Just got the z6 camera and my presets are still messing up with the color and i have to constantly switch to standard v2, the issue is when I pick a new preset that I want to try out on the image, it wants to switch back to adobe standard. Is there a way to lock the profile to v2? I don't want to have to go through every single preset and have to resave the preset with the updated v2 (especially if i'm using a backup camera thats not a v2)

There is a way to do what you are asking. It involves setting defaults for each of your cameras. That process changed beginning with Lightroom Classic 9.2. Here is an excellent video outlining the process of setting camera defaults for each camera:

Back in the v6.x days of LrC, if the profile was not included in the preset then the profile did not change. Somewhere that correct behavior changed, most likely due to a coding error.

While changing all your presets is not difficult, I know of no way to "easily" do it.

Edit: The tutorial in Jim's post may give some hints to help with.
