Lag while editing with new LR update

I'm finding that my brushes are causing lags/spinning wheel in the new LR update.  It's really slowing down my workflow.  Any advice?  Is anyone else having this issue?

-Lightroom Classic v10

-Macbook Pro version 10.15

-Mac OS Catalina

-No error messages

-Using a brush to add exposure/smoothing causes lag/freezing/spinning wheel - lags also happen any time I use the brush to do anything

-Hardware - Processor 2.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

-Memory - 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

-Monitor - (2880 x 1800)
-Original Raw Images (4480 × 6720)

Make sure that your GPU usage is OFF. (Preferences->Performance->Use Graphics Process is set to OFF)

 

If that doesn't help:

 

Given the number of reports of slowness on MAC with LrC 10.0, I would suggest you re-install LrC 9.4
