My Lightroom 6.0 crashes every time I try to open it. I am on a Mac. Please help

I can't reset the preferences because i cannot even open it. It just crashes whenever I attempt to open it

In the  link thedigitaldog provided, see method 2, be aware the file name fir v6 is different.

Do you really work with Lightroom 6.0? If yes, you have to install the latest version of LR 6. It's version 6.14

Here you'll find the latest version in secrtion 2015 apps.
