Lightroom 6 not starting in Catalina OS

After upgrading to Catalina OS, Lightroom started, but saying that Adobe application manager is not running, and it was saying annoyingly that Lightroom 6 is a testversion, although I bought Lightroom 6 in 2015 (whihc is a pre-cloud application). The Lightroom 6-licence is registered with Adobe and the purchase is shown in my Creative Cloud account. Since today Lightroom 6 does not even open anymore, possibly because the testversion-period has expired, and possibly because Adobe application manager cannot verify the purchase anymore as it no longer runs on Catalina. How to fix this, given that Lightroom 6 should actually would work with Catalina according to Adobe? When will this be fixed by Adobe?

mahof, good evening.
Lightroom6 is old software, as you know. There are no future updates.

Adobe software support guidelines

The major cause of the failure is that the Adobe Applcation Manager does not run on Catalina, which has Catalina dropped support for 32-bit applications because it is a 32-bit component.

Lightroom (Classic) running on Catalina is Lightroom Classic 9 or Lightroom Classic 8.4.1 or later.
These are available on the Creative Cloud Photography Plan.
