The slideshow function on Lightroom 6 version 6.9 has stopped working, with the message "Video problem detected" and asking me to update the video card or driver.
It was working 3-4 months ago but I just noticed it's no longer working.
The video card driver is up to date (Intel HD Graphics 3000)
I've tried the several approaches listed on the web about this but no luck so far.
Thanks, I've tried the various steps listed in this troubleshooting article (as well as other troubleshooting articles I could find).
These steps involved updating the video driver (done) and disabling the graphics card (no effect on the problem). No luck with these in fixing the problem.
Thanks again and we must keep looking.
Could you please post the Lightroom Help>System info report here?

Your system only meets the minimum requirements for running Lightroom and needs to be upgraded to at least the recommended specs .See System requirements for Photoshop Lightroom for Mac and Windows OS The Intel 3000 is a pretty old GPU and if we look at the system info, it says that OpenGLversion on this card failed to load. This card is no longer capable of running most editing apps nowadays, I would highly recommend you to upgrade your GPU and Ram.
Hope that helps. Thanks,
It was working for LR 5 and LR 6 until recently. Why did it decide to stop - after I decided to purchase the upgrade?
Possibly your driver got updated and now al the apps failed to detect the OpenGL version.
Have encountered the same problem but after update from WIN 7 to WIN 10. Nothing else changed. LR notification after update: "Slideshow and Video Export has been deactivated because the grafic card or driver is not supported....".
No idea how to solve. The installed driver for the INTEL HD Grafic 3000 is the the newest one. The machine is a Sony Ultrabook. No chance to replace the card.
