'Lightroom already in use by maximum number of computers' message LR6

Hello

I have uninstalled LR6 from my old computer (and wiped clean). The LR6 is a DVD official relaease, bought by me from new. Now getting the above message. I only have one computer! Help!!

This statement from Adobe applies to Lightroom also-

"Our aging activation servers for earlier versions of Acrobat and Creative Suite (CS) applications had to be retired. Without the activation servers, these applications display an activation or connection error when trying to verify a license."

 

You will need to Contact Customer Care- ! CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE 

Click on the Chat icon (lower-right of the page)

Type in "Agent" so you can chat with a human,

Be sure to ask only to have your ACTIVATIONS RESET.

Hi thanks for the prompt reply. I cannot see the Chat Icon anywhere on the page link.. the blue 'Contact Us' button does nothing. I'm using Safari. Regards, Ian

Does Safari allow Cookies? And are you logged in with your ID & pw?

I see the Chat icon appear and stay visible even when I scroll the site page. Windows does not show it as 'blue'.
