Lightroom CC Classic crashing constantly

Hi, My LR is crashing so regularly that it's making work very difficult. I upgraded to LR CC Classic in about Nov, 2017, as it was crashing. The update didn't solve the situation. I have search the forums and online generally - I've tried with GPU acceleration switched off, I've deleted previews (this helped a little, but is now crashing as regularly, again). I've followed all the suggestions on the Adobe FAQ page - all software is up to date. I'd appreciate any help, as it's driving me nuts and makes working very inefficient. While I can't think of any other software which I've updated in this time frame, I have auto updates - so changes are inevitable. Thanks in Advance.

First, please update the driver for your graphic card from the manufacturers webpage - do not rely on Windows Update.

Second, try if it helps to reset the preferences: Resetting Preferences in Lightroom CC/6

As a last resort, remove and reinstall LR. Your data won't be touched doing this and is save. Don't forget to reboot between any of the steps.

Thanks. I have checked the graphics card and it's up to date. I will reset the prefs in LR and then reinstall if not fixed. But I suspect, as it was crashing before I upgraded to Classic, that a reinstall is not the fix. I'll let you know how I go. Thanks again.
