Lightroom CC update 8/4/2020 catalog blank, all photos missing.

While out of state with computer off, Adobe "updated" my Lightroom CC catalog and it now shows all photos as "missing".

You are probably looking at the wrong catalog. Probably a new catalog. Use your OS file browser to navigate to wherever your catalog is, double click on it to launch.

This Can NOT happen.

Adobe does not have Access to your computer when it is Off.

You need to Calm Down and Explain what happened.

This can't be. If your computer is shut down and cut off nothing can be done on and with your machine.

Two things a possible that has happened:

The first point has David already written. You has open the wrong catalog.

The second point is that you have stored all your photos on an external drive and this drive is freconnected under a another name or drive letter as on the import into Lightroom.
