Lightroom CC update has omitted over a year of photos in my library.

I just did the update of Lightroom CC Classic and all of my 2019  and some 2018 photos are not in the library.  Also some organization by date is missing from 2017 photos.

Do you mean that you upgraded to LR CL 9?  If so, check to see that you selected the most recent catalog for LR CL to convert. If you picked a catalog that was from 2017 that would cause what you see.

LATEST

LR Calssic V9 need to update the catlog file to work with the newer LR version. It probably upgrade a different catalog than the one that had 2019 images in it.

 

Search your drive for .lrcat. How many catalogs are there.
