Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Lightroom Classic. Please ensure you have all available Windows updates installed on the computer. How big is the catalog you're working on? Do you experience the same issue if you create a new catalog & try to work on a few files & create folders? Are you trying to create the folder on an external drive? If yes, do you experience the same behavior while creating a folder on a local destination?

You can try optimizing the preferences of Lightroom Classic using the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/optimize-performance-lightroom.html

Let us know if it helps!
