Hello,

Since the recent update (either 10.0 or 10.1), lightroom stops recognizing HEIC files randomly (black circle with the "!"). This immediately affects the Sync: all HEIC files are put into a smart collection "Sync errors".

Restarting the app helps, but I think it's a bug. Did anyone experience the same? Is it planned for correction?

My tech:

  • MacBook Pro 13, Mid-2012
  • MasOS Catalina
  • Lightroom Classic 10.1

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Vitaliy

The exact text is "Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo. Errors syncing with Lightroom"

Hello,

The photos are on the external HDD, and I imported them back in May/June.

Now they are in a LR Sync collection and they get this bug...
