Lightroom Classic 10.2 - Syncing problem

Hi,

Anytime I go to a folder (desktop version of Lightroom, on Windows 10 PC), and try to sync - it opens the sync screen - and just freezes at that point.

 

I will never respond after that - I can only stop the process/crash the app and restart.

This previously worked - I can't pinpoint when/why it started, but it has been a few weeks now.

All of my photos are on an external NAS device (and have been for some time).
Everything else works - I can import new photos, edit, etc. - but when I try to sync (which for me, is bringing in "worked on" jpg files.  It hangs (with a little spinning disk on the screen).

Am at a loss on what to do... so any help would be appreciated.

Numrous threads on this forum currently with people having the same issue.

I have not found a solution either.

Hopefully Adobe takes notice of this.

I have not had any luck with any of their "support".

Very frustrating.
